Bill Gates once said, ' Life is unfair, get used to it.'.

Yes, life is unfair, and I hate to say that it always happens to me.

Initially, I kept complaining, arguing and screaming at people. Now I found out that it actually doesn't work. At this time, my head will say ' Just get used to it. What can you do.' Quite true, what can I do?

I am just puzzled why young people just can't stand for fairness and justice without getting a spank on the face or a rude spit asking you to just 'shut up!'. I thought Singapore was a land of freedom of speech. So why can't we just get over the manners and respect thing and just speak our mind? And please, I'm sure young people still have human rights, which I think should strongly not be controleld by the ancient words of respect or manners. Why can't I speak for myself when I have done absolutely no wrong? Why do I always have to live under others' shadows?

How I wished to say ' Hey, look here. I'm 17!'. And while some people can have kids already at the age of 17, I'm still confined by having to share a computer and being scolded for crappy things. Well, all these ends in one statement: 'Life is unfair, get used to it!'
