Its time to finalise my CCA, but its going to be damn difficult because I can either follow my passion or my father's passion. Its rather sad..

Calligraphy:
I am a caligrapher, but I would not opt to have calli as my core cca. Its a torture going to CCA and competitions, where I get nagged at when I don't win anything home. CCA is boring, its detroying my turbo-charged JC life. And with all the PRCs there, I can hardly breathe. Not that I don't like them, but even they regard the CCA as a portal to earn money from competitions and always not going to CCA, how can i live with such attitude?

Canoeing:
I swear this is my love. I can get as close to the ocean and seas of freedom as I canoe or kayak. You never know how fuifilling this is- having the top-of-the-world feeling when you're able to reach the end of the oceans.

Astronomy:
It's been my dream since young to gaze at stars and spot constellations. Its cool holding a telescope and lying on the wet grass of the fields looking at the sky. So when I can join now? Why let this chance slip by?!

Squash:
I've always liked sports like tennis and squash. Its destressing and a passion. The feeling that you can wack at something and not hurting anyone(but yourself) is great! But now, its either canoeing or squash.

Difficult choices indeed! But choices will not be choices if they're easy to make. However one thing is for sure- I am going to quit Calligraphy for haven's sake. Well, its my life, and I don't want to give up on my dreams and passion to take part in the CCA that my father likes..

what we could have been, 8:39 PM.
