At night I went to meet yansin. I bought mango yoghurt and we went to the rooftop of a block of flats at old airport to chat. She was asking me how I got my motivation to study for o levels. And I just said I was studying all the while, which was true! But not quite for now..don't know what hapened to me lately, dun really feel like studying, and would rather while the afternoon off...which is quite a waste...
And I finally bought a squash racquet for myself. Cost quite a bomb to me :(... But yay!
However the bad thing is, my left feet started to hurt while I was walking in Bugis today, and it is still hurting now..hope it just gets better tmr so I get to play squash. My com is also getting supper lagging as I am bloggin now, so I guess I must end soon. Man, I've got a few more hours avaliable to my tests!! So I guess I really have to end soon.
Cheers!

Firstly, here's my wishing Singapore a Happy Birthday! Glad this is national day week, coz I get to hear all the national day songs that I like and wave the small flag like nobody's business. But once again, I am disappointed at not getting a ticket to the parade to watch it live this year. Has been long since I last went to the parade. But nonetheless, celebrations in school was great and I was with my class decked up in the gallery. Took lots of pictures and videos. I've got this patriotic feeling building up in me over the years that I think even if someone else waged war with Singapore, I would just stand by her and die with her. Haha...
After school celebrations on Wednesday, I went to Sentosa with my class. After walking for damn long uder the sun, which was especially hot that afternoon, I found that I had led the class in the wrong direction. We're heading for siloso beach when we planned to go to palawan beach. Oops...then I wispered to Zi Xian, and we both decided to just continue walking until they find out themselves. Then we reached the next beach tram stop. And I instantaneously sat down. The others folowed and we waited fort he tram. When it came, we boarded it and still, nobody asked why. After quite a while, Jun Jie, who was sitting beside me said "this place look so familiar..." and I just said "yeal..". Didn't want to risk getting stoned at by the guys...:)
But we did go to palawan beach at the end..and we bought a fake rubber volley ball which the guys used to play soccer. Initially I decided to play with them, but after seeing how they kick the ball around, I decided not to for fear of getting disfigured or getting a lung disease of something...coz I think they are kicking the sandy ground instead of the ball...
and so, I became photographer of the day. :)
After that, I rushed to raffles place to meet Hui Yi and gang. Was one hour late but nevermind...and I said "lets go watch fireworks". Then they looked at me and said "today got fireworks meh?..." and I said " dun have meh?..." -_- true...there was no rehearsal on nat day eve...and so I was like..." why never tell me earlier!?" But anyways, after dinner at subway, me, NJ and YJ went to sit down to chat beside Singapore river.
and sth which was super embarassing happened. A group of channel 8 reporters approached us and asked us to say "Happy Birthday Singapore" in front of the camera...NJ ran away, so me and YiJie did so. Initially I was enthu about it, which I think was quite fun anyway, then I started to think about how messy my hair was..then I was so worried about my pimples and all...ai..it is all so embarassing!!

Recently there's been a spate going on in class involving a gambling queen and many gambling kings/ assholes/commoners. Interesting, but all in all, its a rather personal matter for me or anyone else to get involved in or even discuss it. Well, and Phyllis have been deserting me for a time times already for her *.
Today is terrible. Two tests, both of which I need to desperately do well in. And while I just started to write about 燕歌行, Mr Square came along and nudged me to watch my 错字s. After this ordeal, I finally found out that the most important tool in a student's life is actually the dictionary, without which you cannot learn new words, know how to write words, and even prevent marks from being deducted in an exam.
I know I haven't been hardworking lately (or I havent started to be hardworking since January), so I need todo so, needless to say. So maybe, friends out there, I may need to lock myself in for a few months, for the sake of you being able to then see me in J2 next year.
Lately I have been thinking of getting a new laptop for myself, but at this age where I am still independent on others for pocket money, there's no way I can do so. Its really quite sad, coz when I ask my dad about it, he just gave me that 'no-way' look, which I can infer as '你妄想。。’. So I guess I better return to reality and stick to the fashion-old books, instead of the funky gadget which I will probably only get in University.
Life is stressful, life is hard, but I like it just the way it is. coz this week is not the worst, and the worst is coming up, 4 tests within 3 days.
Finally got a chance to msn chat with my sec 4 friends, missed them, missed our language, missed all the fun we had. Glad to hear we're finally gonna meet during nat day holidays. I'm gonna enjoy myself then man!!
